Tim and I are blogging from the community centre in Hawker. The weather is awesome for riding today – we have been shielded from the sun all day today with what could be rain clouds – we felt a few spits of rain in the last hour coming in to town.
Last night we camped by the B83 road. Tim hung his mozzie net up from a tree and slept under the stars. It was soooo hot yesterday and I couldn’t find a wide rimmed hat in Pr Augusta so had to wear my beanie in 40 degree heat just to keep the sun off.
Anyway, we have to dash, next stop is Wilpena which we hope to make either tonight or tomorrow morning, another 56km. We want to make the most of the sun not being out so will try to push to Wilpena today.
Here’s a couple of pics so far.
Hi Guys
Great blog. Even though you had to wear a beanie I’m still envious of your experience.
Looking forward to seeing what and where your up too.
