The 28th Feb saw the end of a special two week showing of the digitally remastered classic, Tibet: A buddhist trilogy.
Shot in Northern India in the 70’s before his HH the Dalai Lama was well known on the global stage. Incredible close up and personal footage of Tibetan culture well preserved forever, but I felt it wasn’t presented too well – especially for todays audiences. The lack of descriptive narration and the fact that 95% of the film was set in India was dissapointing. That said, the content of this film is incrediable if a little long drawn out in places.
Definately a DVD purchase, not a 2.5hr cinema session!

I still laugh when I imagine you and your mates sitting thru Act 2 in a cinema! :)
